Enter each coin, the quantity and what you paid in total. The tracker values every holding at the live rupee price, shows your average cost and profit or loss, and works out the tax you would owe under Indian rules if you sold everything today. A loss on one coin cannot reduce the gain on another, so you can owe tax even when the portfolio as a whole is down. There is no login: your holdings are saved only in this browser and never sent to us.

Assumes a resident individual with total income under ₹50 lakh (no surcharge). Tax is worked out per coin on its gain, using the average cost as an estimate. Selling fees and P2P trades are left out. Ask your CA whether purchase fees belong in "total cost".
Real data: ₹10,000 in each of 10 large coins a year ago
₹10,000 in each of 10 large coins on 25 Oct 2025 (₹1,00,000 in all) would have been worth ₹65,428 on 24 Oct 2026: −₹34,572 (−34.6%). Best was TRON (+17.5%), worst Cardano (−65.6%). With 9 of the 10 coins at a loss, selling everything would still mean ₹545 tax, because the losses cannot be set off against the gain.

FAQ
Is my portfolio data sent anywhere?
No. Holdings are saved only in your browser (localStorage). To fetch prices the page asks our price feed or CoinGecko for coin names such as "bitcoin"; your quantities and costs never leave the device. Use Download CSV and Load CSV to move them to another device.
Why does it show tax when my portfolio is down overall?
Because in India the gain on each crypto transfer is taxed on its own at 30% plus 4% cess, and a loss on another coin cannot reduce it. In the real example above a ₹1,00,000 portfolio is at −₹34,572, yet selling everything today would mean ₹545 tax, all of it on the gain in TRON.
How is the average cost worked out?
The total cost of all rows for a coin divided by the total quantity. For tax, the cost of the units actually sold is what counts, so if you sell only part of a holding, keep a record of which purchase lots you sold.
When is the 1% TDS deducted?
When you sell on an Indian exchange, 1% of the sale value is withheld (once your sales in the year pass ₹10,000, or ₹50,000 for some individuals). It is not an extra tax: you claim it as a credit in your ITR.
Not investment or tax advice. An educational tracker. Prices are global CoinGecko INR quotes and can differ a little from your exchange. Ask a chartered accountant about your own case.
